GLOSSARY AND COMMENTARY TO CERTAIN TERMS AND CONCEPTS, USED IN INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CO-OPERATION: LEGAL ASPECTS

The objects of the research are political, programme, normative acts of different level and force of application. All of them relate to ecosystem approach to tackle the tasks of transboundary cooperation in the field of environmental protection. The objects are appropriate to discover applicable international and conservation as well as theory and law substance of the topic.

Objectives of the research (short-term results) — are developments of recommendations and proposals, to provide “environmental and legal clearness” of the activities and projects.

Content-analysis of normative acts was applied in the course of the work. Those parameters, which systematic taking into account is a guarantee of the work’s objectives achievement, were considered.

First time ever the research introduces into scientific circulation new lexical form of legal term “interecolaw”. The glossary also contains newly formulated legal operational definitions (legal content) of a number of legal and other concepts, namely “ecosystem approach”, “environmental safety”, and more then 50 others.

Basic features of application: high precision of initial sources quoting notwithstanding with general content and large volume of the research of considered relations.

Degree of introduction — with a consideration of the results a scientific article was prepared.

The effectiveness of the research is defined by combination of the advantages of juridical clearness and mutually understood style of standardised documents. Abovementioned sample of approbation and the glossary itself may be applied for wide dissemination and implementation of their recommendations into practice.
